As a responsible breeder we do not have many litters (one every 2-3 yrs) and only when we can keep a puppy to improve our program in comformation, health and temperament. Our primary goal is to raise the highest quality show Cairns with exceptional temperament. Puppies are sold to pet families who will provide a loving and caring home. A fenced yard is a requirement. Underground fences do not secure any terrier breed when a squirrel runs through the yard.
If you are considering a Cairn for the first time it is recommended that you research the breed through the many books available.
These little dogs are the best pets you could choose if you know what to expect . . . what they are bred to be. While they adapt to different environments it is important to provide a loving, consistent environment with exercise and attention. They only pose behavior issues if they are ignored. However, in a good home there is not a better pet.
No puppy is sold over the internet without meeting the prospective family. A home visit will be scheduled upon delivery of the puppy to those we meet over the internet.
NO puppies are currently available at Stonehaven. However, our dog, Grey is being used for stud service, and we can put you in touch with breeders who have puppies from him.
