My twin brother and I (left) were given our first Cairn in 1966. Chris was from the Melita kennel. She was bred to John Orman's Santa Xlaus of Melita and we kept a girl, Santa's Tinker Bell (right). That's where it all began.
In 2002 I brought home a California girl from the Rose Croft kennel,
CH Rose Croft In His Steps, Lizzie.   CH Rose Croft Best Foot Forward is Lizzie's sire, bred with a Scandinavian import, Ru'Cairn's Qwikke Miss Mille. (see foundation).
My husband, David, and I have 3 children: Catie (Washington, D.C.), Jeni (Harding University), and Will (University of Tennessee). I grew up with Cairns and Tennessee Walking Horses in Memphis, Tennessee and on the family farm 2 hours from Memphis. After attending college in Texas and living in Oklahoma for 9 years we moved back to Jackson, Tennessee.
